Go Global Vaccinations & Travel Health Clinic, based in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire, is managed and run by Andrea Berkelaar (pictured right), a qualified Travel Health Specialist who, following a keen interest in the subject, has recently completed the Diploma in Travel Health at The Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons in Glasgow.
On graduating from the RCPSG, Andrea is now an Associate Member of the Faculty of Travel Medicine and is aiming to take the Membership Examination in December of 2015, which is the bench-mark achievement within the field of Travel Medicine. She is very passionate about her subject and communicates this with clients who are travelling worldwide for many different reasons. She is a member of The British Global Travel Health Association, The International Society of Travel Medicine and The Royal Society of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene.
"Vaccinations are indeed part of the pre-travel requirements to many destinations but of paramount importance is the health advice that you will receive as part of your individualised travel health consultation.
The world is ever changing and the spread of disease is a constant threat to us all, as people move easily and quickly across the globe within ever-decreasing time spans. At Go Global, we will do our very best to ensure that you set off on your journey, wherever that may be and for whatever reason, as well prepared as possible to minimise the risk of travel related illness."
Travel related products such as mosquito nets, insect repellents and medical first aid kits are also available to purchase at our clinic.
Go Global Vaccinations & Travel Health Clinic is a designated Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre and has been authorised by NaTHNaC (as the regulatory body for England, Wales and Northern Ireland), to administer yellow fever vaccine in accordance with International Health Regulations (2005).
